i do not like the playoff format. to have washington, pittsburgh and columbus battling each other and it not be the division final is terrible. i like 1 versus 8, 2 versus, 7, etc.
I hope the pens saw what kadri did against ovie and try to replicate it where possible. But the biggest thing is that the caps showed they could not manage the leafs speed. pens are better and deeper.

@Guile: Lol. Jumbo as a 3C would be a (frank)ing cheat code. Let's go full fantasy mode. Sign Jumbo, trade for Kovalchuk. Roll these lines:
Guentzel-Crosby-Sheary
Kovalchuk-Malkin-Rust
Hagelin-Thornton-Kessel
Wilson-Sundqvist/Rowney/Cullen?-Hornqvist
Who cares what our defense is. Those forwards don't get stopped. |

They really need to change it. It's a terrible format. |

Haha hard not to think about Jumbo Joe in the Brugh after reading that little tid bit. I'd say he'd be a suitable Bonino replacement... |

Considering Wilson said Blues would miss playoffs entirely, it's not a shock he thinks games with an equal number of high danger shots, Blues with more medium danger shots, and Wild with many more low danger shots is the Wild outplaying St. Louis. Not sure what his hard on against St. Louis is, but it doesn't come from actually watching the games. |

What would thornton want on a play for a winner contract?
2 years $12 million?
That being said maybe he would prefer playing for a team like Nashville that's a contender and he could still play a 1/2 c role instead of 3rd line. |

Let the division winners get the 1st and 2nd seed and then simply go by record after that. Should reseed after every round as well. Pens get the #3 team and the #1 team right off the bat. |

Just his opinion(s). A lot of other people share the same one(s) too. Quite a few people were surprised they made it in this year and quite a few people are surprised they took out the wild 4 games to 1. |

Surprised the Blues won the series, or won it 4-1, isn't uncommon. Saying Blues were outplayed in all 5 games is just ignorant. |

He put up more points in this years KHL season than Radulov did in his last KHL season, and we saw how well Radulov played this season for MTL. I'm sure he's still pretty (frank)in good. |

That's what Colorado tried the year they brought in Selanne & Kariya in 2003. To go along with Sakic, Forsberg, Hejduk, Tanguay & others. But it didn't work out too well. (they did have a relatively competent defense at the time though, if memory serves) |
